The iconic Carlsberg beer label designed by the Danish architect and artist Thorvald Bindesbøll in 1903 and the hop leaf is still in use today. In 1904 we added a crown to the label to celebrate the official appointment as “Supplier to the Royal Danish Court”. We were the first brewery in Denmark to be granted that honour, and we’re still proud of it.
