When Brewmaster Helena da Silva Athanasopoulos embarked on the creation of the Brut Beer recipe, she was intrigued about the nature of sparkling wines. Applying science-based playfulness, she had a very different approach to building the flavours in her beer recipe. She elegantly combined the slightly dry - hence the French term Brut - white-wine taste derived from the unique Montrachet yeast strain - with a range of novel ingredients like yuzu, rosewater, and grapefruit peel. As you savour this brew, you'll recognize a wine-like, floral, and citrusy bouquet, and your palate will be treated to the dry and invigorating experience of this beer.
