The cap has an adjustable closure on the the back that allows you to adjust the size.
The red 12-pointed star was a logo for J.C. Jacobsen’s Brewery Old Carlsberg, designed by the Danish architect and artist Thorvald Bindesbøll. This round label was used from the early 1880s for beer kegs.
